Meet The Official CEO Of the Eat Wag love Team
This is Sprocket, our resident Husky and self-appointed Chief Executive Officer, who firmly believes she runs the team at Eat Wag Love.
Trusted Pet Information for Pet Lovers
At Eat Wag Love, our goal is simple: to help pet owners make better-informed decisions about the animals they love.
We create practical, easy-to-understand information about dog and cat breeds, pet behaviour, health, training and everyday pet care. Our growing library includes detailed breed guides, pet care articles, videos and podcasts designed to answer the questions pet owners actually ask.
How We Research Our Content
Accuracy and usefulness are important to us. Our articles and breed guides are researched using multiple reputable sources, including veterinary resources, recognised breed and kennel organisations, animal welfare organisations, scientific research and established breed information.
Technology, including artificial intelligence, may be used to assist with research, content development and production. However, our objective is never to simply generate content at scale. Topics are selected, structured and reviewed with the aim of providing genuinely useful information for pet owners.
We continually improve and update Eat Wag Love as new information becomes available and as we learn more about the questions our readers are trying to answer.
Our Editorial Approach
We believe good pet information should be useful, understandable and honest.
That means we aim to:
provide practical answers rather than content written simply for search engines;
distinguish between general breed information and veterinary advice;
use reputable sources when discussing pet health and wellbeing;
acknowledge that individual animals can differ considerably from typical breed characteristics;
update or correct information when better evidence becomes available; and
create original resources that add genuine value for pet owners.
Health information published on Eat Wag Love is for general educational purposes and should not replace advice from a qualified veterinarian.
Who Is Behind Eat Wag Love?
Eat Wag Love is an independent pet information platform founded by Brett Watson, an Australian digital entrepreneur with more than 20 years of involvement in online pet services.
Brett previously founded RescuePets, an Australian online pet rehoming platform that helped connect more than 200,000 pets with new homes.
That experience helped shape the philosophy behind Eat Wag Love: better information can help people choose pets more carefully, understand them better and ultimately give them better lives.
Today, Eat Wag Love is building a global resource for dog and cat lovers, combining detailed breed information with pet care education, video, podcasts and interactive resources.
And, of course, no Eat Wag Love team introduction would be complete without Sprocket — our Husky, resident troublemaker and Official CEO.
